Family Home Evening
What is Family Home Evening ?
The easiest way to answer that is to quote from the LDS website
"Family home evening is a special time set aside each week that brings family members together and strengthens their love for each other, helps them draw closer to Heavenly Father, and encourages them to live righteously."
Family Home Evening is somthing we do weekly as members of the LDS church, if you are not a member that does not mean that you can not have Family Home Evening in your home as it is a wonderful way for any family to grow closer together.
There are many great websites around that have wonderful ideas for you family home evenings. One thing to always keep in mind when planning your evening is that there are also great resources offered by other christian websites that may be suitable. For instance you may find some colouring pictures of bible scenes to print out on a christian website or maybe even find an interactive movie or game, so keep your options open. Listed below are just some of the sites we have found.

KZION LDS Internet Radio
There is a really great website that offers free streaming media (windows media) in a radio station format. It allows you to request songs and rate them as well, From the website..

I have found this station to be a great inspiration while I am reading the scriptures or preparing a talk and they always play appropriate music for the Sabbath so it makes a great change to local stations pumping out rock n roll. Head on over to http://kzion.org to sign up for the free service or you can upgrade to a paid membership for additional privileges.
